Dry Lining Partitioning

Partitioning

Dry lining

Dry lining is the method we use as we believe it’s the quickest and most time and cost-efficient way to create a partition, ready for decoration.

The dry lining processes:

Metal stud walls

Metal stud or wooden frames are initially assembled to create the structure for the partition.

Application of Plasterboard

The metal frame is then fitted with plasterboard over to construct the partition.

Tape and Jointing

Often the quickest and most cost-effective finish is to tape the joints between the plasterboard panels and use a special compound to create a smooth finish.

Professional plastering

Or alternatively to tape and joining we use the more labour intensive method of completely coating the plasterboard with traditional plaster to create a smooth finish.

Glass Partitioning

Often our clients have a preference in certain environments for glass or part glass partitioning.  Glass paneling is modern, practical, and great for heat efficiency, further to this it looks good aesthetically. We supply and install single or double glazing and include options for tinted or frosted glass for privacy
